Treatments
We offer a full range of restorative treatments. At the initial consultation, a full examination is made, including x-rays and other investigations where necessary, in order to make a diagnosis, and to determine the treatment that will most appropriately meet the needs of each patient.
Amongst the treatments offered are:
- Anterior and posterior tooth coloured fillings
- Porcelain veneers
- Porcelain onlays
- All porcelain crowns and bridges
- Porcelain fused to precious metal crowns and bridges
- Implant-supported crowns, bridges and dentures
- Full mouth reconstructions
- Treatment of occlusal and temporomandibular problems.
- Partial and full removable dentures.
Hygeine treatments
The emphasis of any dental practice must be the prevention of disease. We have a dedicated hygienist in the practice four days per week.
The hygienist carries out routine treatments for all our patients. The length of each appointment is normally 45 minutes, but the length of the appointment and the interval between each appointment is tailored to the needs of each patient. If more complex periodontal problems are present, the patient is referred to one of the in-house periodontal specialists. Recalls are sent out to all patients at appropriate intervals.
Part of the hygiene care is continued instruction in oral hygiene maintenance, and this is given at each appointment.
We carry a range of hygiene aids, including electric toothbrushes, which we are able to sell to patients at less than retail prices.
